Within the scope of UTIS 2024, Yıldız addressed key industry challenges and offered solution-oriented insights in his presentation titled “Efficiency-Focused Technologies in Machine Tools.” The presentation emphasized that improving production efficiency is not limited to increasing speed; effective use of resources and ensuring operational efficiency are equally critical.

Yıldız highlighted major issues such as production delays, chip management, and efficiency losses caused by manual operations, and presented innovative technological solutions to address them. He also discussed technologies like “ChronoCut,” which help reduce idle time while maintaining precision and increasing productivity.

In addition, advanced technologies from Japanese turning center manufacturer Nakamura-Tome—for which GNC Makina acts as distributor—were introduced. These include Oscillation Cutting, Oscillation Threading, and Chatter Canceler systems, which enhance production quality, improve chip control, and increase machine safety, ultimately contributing to higher overall efficiency.
