GNC Makina concluded MAKTEK 2024 with strong sales performance and a prestigious award.

GNC Makina showcased its high-performance machine tools equipped with advanced technologies and innovative solutions contributing to the development of Turkish industry at MAKTEK Eurasia 2024, held between September 30 and October 5, 2024 at the Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.

GNC Makina introduced its latest models, new technology projects, and new investments at the 8th MAKTEK Eurasia Fair, organized this year in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TİAD) and the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MİB).

At the fair, innovative products from globally prestigious brands such as Victor Taichung, Nakamura-Tome, Vision Wide, ONA, and Vonghler were presented to visitors at the GNC Makina stand. These solutions, which transform production processes and elevate efficiency and precision to the highest level, once again demonstrated the company’s vision and expertise in the industry.

MAKTEK Eurasia: A Key Platform for Manufacturers and Industrial Professionals

Sharing his comments and observations at the end of the fair, Gökhan Yıldız stated:

“MAKTEK is a very important platform for machine tools and the industry. At this event, where a high number of international industry professionals from all around the world attended, we highlighted the innovations in our machines. We had the opportunity to engage directly with our visitors, better understand their needs, and provide innovative solutions to meet their demands. The intense interest in our stand throughout the fair greatly pleased us; at times, we even struggled to keep up with the demand. This once again showed how significant the need is for the solutions we offer as GNC Makina. We sincerely thank all our participants for their interest and support. This attention has motivated us further and become a great source of inspiration for our future projects.”

International Brand Representatives Also in Attendance

Representatives of brands distributed by GNC Makina—including ONA, Nakamura-Tome, Vision Wide, and Victor Taichung—were also present at the stand, engaging directly with customers and providing detailed technical information about the machines. They answered visitors’ technical questions while sharing the latest advancements in machine technologies.

“Best Distributor” Award from Victor Taichung

GNC Makina was once again awarded the prestigious “Best Distributor” title by Taiwanese CNC machine manufacturer Victor Taichung. The award was presented at MAKTEK 2024 by Victor Taichung CEO Sheamus Huang to representatives of GNC Makina.

High Concentration of Defense Industry Manufacturers Attracted Attention

Gökhan Yıldız highlighted the strong presence of defense industry manufacturers at the fair, stating:

“One of the notable aspects of this year’s exhibition was the significant participation of companies operating in the defense industry. We observed a substantial increase in this field. Manufacturers in this sector are investing more in high-technology and reliability-focused products, strengthening Türkiye’s potential and power in this area. As GNC Makina, we closely follow this growth and continue to provide the latest technologies and solutions tailored to the needs of the defense industry.”

Strong Demand for Chinese Companies Seeking Distributorships

Yıldız also emphasized the high presence of Chinese companies at MAKTEK 2024:

“One of the key observations at MAKTEK 2024 was the intense participation of Chinese firms seeking distributorships. However, this situation may have some negative effects on Turkish industry. Companies that fail to provide strong distributorship and after-sales services can lead to reduced production quality, disruptions in manufacturing processes, and difficulties in achieving high value-added final products. It is important to underline that the issue is not about Chinese products themselves, but about how they are positioned in the market by the right partners.”

Rising Demand for Multi-Axis CNC Machines

He further noted that increasing demand for multi-axis CNC machines reflects Türkiye’s growing production capabilities:

“One of the most striking developments at the fair was the strong demand for multi-axis CNC machines. This demand indicates that Türkiye is increasingly producing more complex, high-precision products, and this trend is expected to continue. Multi-axis machines are used in more sophisticated manufacturing processes, showing that industrial players in the country are expanding their capabilities and shifting toward high-tech production. With such machines, Turkish industry will become more competitive and achieve a stronger position in the global market.”
